Suspicious, if mysterious, smooth-talking business of Mr. Aladdin's lamp to a lack in demand locate Mr. Pigg heavily armed to take over the case. A wild adventure takes place, drawing allusions to fairy tales on almost every page of the assistant to Mr. Pigg nimble, Jack Horner, the spatial extent of the Grimm Town. Burke seems to shoot for the tone of detective stories in 1940 by Mr. Pigg first-person voice ("Red Riding that Lady"), but a reference to Mr. Aladdin, "a man oriental" unnecessary feels vibrations, especially not children are likely familiar with this kind of date, a derogatory term in context. With description and explanation, although this may be highly energetic caper a useful addition to break-tale units.
